Circuitera is an online Arduino IDE for writing sketches, compiling with AVR-GCC, simulating circuits, and uploading to supported boards in your browser.
Local editing without an account. Hardware access with your permission.
Edit Arduino C++ code, Verify builds, and explore circuit behavior. Serial Monitor and Serial Plotter help you read and visualize your board’s output.
Write Arduino sketches online, compile locally with AVR-GCC, and upload to supported boards with Web Serial. Use serial tools and manage projects.
Simulate Arduino circuits online with Circuitera. Wire supported components, run real Uno firmware, and inspect signals beside your code.
Ask Dot about code, compiler diagnostics, and attached circuit context inside the Circuitera workspace.
Write general C++ programs in Circuitera Terminal with real WebAssembly execution, standard input, diagnostics, and Stop controls.
Read Arduino output, send serial input, and plot numeric signals in your browser using Circuitera’s Web Serial tools.
The Arduino compiler runs AVR-GCC on your device through WebAssembly, without sending sketch source code to a remote compiler. Sketches save locally; export a file or ZIP to keep a backup.
No desktop toolchain is needed. Uploading uses Web Serial in compatible desktop browsers such as Chrome or Edge, with your USB permission. Start coding or simulating supported circuits without a board.
Connect an Uno to supported components and see how digital pins and PWM drive LEDs or servos. Attach the circuit to Dot for help reviewing the code and wiring.
Start with Blink, Servo Sweep, or an ultrasonic distance sensor. Each tutorial includes Arduino code, wiring, and an explanation of how it works.
Make an LED blink, then change its rhythm. Learn how setup(), loop(), digitalWrite(), and delay() control a real output.
Use the Servo library to sweep a positional servo. Learn attach(), write(), for loops, and why a motor needs a suitable power supply.
Measure echo travel time with an HC-SR04 and print distance to Serial Monitor. Handle a missing echo explicitly instead of reporting a false zero distance.
Choose the exact processor and bootloader. Compile targets include Uno R3, classic Nano V3, Mega 2560, Leonardo, Micro, and both Pro Mini clocks. New-board uploads are experimental pending hardware validation. Simulation currently targets Uno.

Find examples, dependencies, and board-specific compile results before adding a library to your sketch.
Use Circuitera for browser-based Arduino development on Chromebooks and classroom computers. Local editing needs no account. Check school browser, storage, and USB policies before class.
