October 30, 2026 | Chainalysis Team
Chainalysis was recently the target of a cybersecurity incident, similar to many other tech platforms in recent weeks. Based on the investigation to date, we have found no evidence of unauthorized access to investigation content, authentication credentials, or session tokens.
Our team is working with leading cybersecurity experts to investigate this activity and harden our systems. We’ve proactively notified all of our customers and will keep them updated as our work progresses. This security incident is not related to the recent crypto theft at Binance.
Below, you can find the full text of the email that was sent to impacted customers.
Chainalysis is committed to the security of our platform and the protection of our customers’ data. We are seeing an industry-wide rise in AI-driven cyberattacks, and we are taking a whole-of-company approach to make sure our security posture meets the evolving environment and our customers’ expectations. In keeping with our commitment to transparency, we are writing to inform you of a security incident affecting your organization. Some of you have been previously notified and we want to provide an update on our work.
Please note that this security incident is unrelated to the recent crypto theft involving Binance.
