Show HN: TheFairNet Professional Networking Platform

TheFairNet is a no-nonsense professional networking platform.

There are no paid/premium options, ensuring everyone is found fairly.

There is no addictive algorithmic-feed. TheFairNet is purely a networking platform.

Add your experience, education, skills, a short about section and more (including external contact information).

Connect with people you know. You will be recommended connections based on the connections of your connections.

Users can search by name or company. Recruiters have more powerful search tools. For both, there is no bias in the search rankings

Optionally, you can create posts displaying things you've done, sharing that you've started a new position, or of anything you wish. You can make a post available to everyone, or to your connections only. Users can "like" a post or leave a comment.

There is no "premium" option. You can't pay your way above the competition. You'll rank in the search results what you deserve.

TheFairNet is a place to list a profile of yourself, make connections and potentially be recruited. This is not a place to find "corporate slop".

You decide who sees what. Decide whether to share your contact info or individual posts with connections only, or with everyone.

Your homepage only shows posts from your connections, not from random people. TheFairNet is an un-addictive platform. Our goal is not to suck you in to a doomscroll.
