We disclose the image-safety service and the underlying AI models used by PictTool.

PictTool uses Amazon Rekognition to check uploaded images before AI processing and generated images before delivery. Upload screening uses a resized JPEG copy; the original is sent to the selected image tool. Likely unsafe results are blocked and uncertain results are held for review. Text prompts are not separately screened by an automated moderation model.

FLUX.1 Kontext Pro (Black Forest Labs) powers comic, cartoon, anime, watercolor, sketch, portrait, travel-art, and product-poster edits. FLUX.2 Dev (Black Forest Labs) powers game-avatar, background-change, and scene-lighting tools. SDXL 1.0 (lucataco/sdxl) powers text-to-image generation.

DDColor (piddnad/ddcolor) colorizes photos; lucataco/remove-bg removes backgrounds; GFPGAN (TencentARC) upscales/restores faces; and Reve Edit Fast (reve/edit-fast) removes described objects. The selected feature determines which model receives the image.
