Transsion Holdings, the Chinese smartphone maker behind TECNO, Infinix and itel, began trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 15 under stock code 02636. The company offered approximately 86.65 million H shares at HKD 35.30 each, raising about HKD 3.06 billion before expenses. The Hong Kong listing adds a second capital-market platform alongside Transsion’s existing Shanghai STAR Market listing, which dates to 2019. The company said the move would broaden funding channels for its global expansion. Transsion sells products in more than 100 countries and regions. Alongside smartphones, it is expanding accessories, home appliances, energy storage and mobile internet services, while increasing the use of AI in product development and its service ecosystem.
