Chinese AI robot maker AGIBOT is nearing completion of a new funding round of approximately RMB 1 billion to RMB 1.5 billion, valuing the company at about RMB 50 billion, according to investors cited by Caijing. Founded in 2023, AGIBOT began preparing for a Hong Kong listing in July. An investor told Caijing that the new financing would push its IPO beyond the end of 2026, citing a requirement for a 120-day interval between completion of pre-IPO financing and listing unless an exemption is granted. The company reported revenue of RMB 1.05 billion for 2025. AGIBOT declined to comment on the latest financing, valuation and IPO progress. [Caijing, in Chinese]
