Flipsnack(opens in a new window) helps teams turn static documents into interactive digital experiences. Its customers use the platform to create product catalogs, sales presentations, brochures, internal communications, and training materials.
For Flipsnack, that range of applications creates a marketing challenge: helping people recognize how the product fits the work they need to do. As the company increased its focus on business customers, it wanted to reach people with needs that its product category alone might not clearly describe.
Flipsnack had relied heavily on search advertising. Its ChatGPT Ads test became an opportunity to learn which customer needs could translate into product signups.
Because Flipsnack is a visual product, prospective customers often want to experience it before speaking with sales. Its campaign landing pages directed people into a signup flow, making completed registration the first meaningful step the team could measure and optimize for.
To help business customers see where the product could fit their work, Flipsnack expanded beyond its original, broader Flipbook campaign. Separate campaigns for Magazine, Catalog, and Brochure addressed specific document needs, while campaigns for Sales Enablement, Employee Benefits, Real Estate, and Hospitality connected the product to business applications and industries.
“A sales team and an internal communications team can use the same product for very different jobs. We want our campaigns to help each see where Flipsnack fits.”
Flipsnack’s initial click-focused campaigns brought in traffic and signups. After seeing better delivery and registration efficiency in conversion-focused campaigns, the team rebuilt existing campaigns with a conversions objective and bidding set to maximize conversions.
Flipsnack created conversion-focused versions of five existing US campaigns that had used a clicks objective with fixed bids.
Early results following the shift to conversion-focused campaigns were encouraging. Across five campaigns, registrations increased approximately 310% while cost per registration fell approximately 75%, with daily budget settings unchanged.1
“What stood out was that we were getting more registrations at a lower cost per signup. That gave us the confidence to make conversion optimization the focus of our campaigns.”
These results give Flipsnack a promising foundation for continued growth with ChatGPT Ads. Building on its conversion-focused campaigns, the team aims to bring more prospective customers into the product and help them discover how Flipsnack can support their business.
Reach people as they explore options, compare choices, and make decisions in ChatGPT, with relevant ads that fit naturally into the experience.
Results are based on Flipsnack’s ChatGPT Ads Manager data for five US campaign pairs, August 25–31 versus September 2–8, 2026, checked September 11. Attribution uses 30-day clicks, excluding views. Daily budget limits were unchanged; spend rose approximately 1.3%. Objectives and bidding changed together.
