Our initial offering, ideal for most users

Send Large file sharing in Thunderbird with end-to-end encryption.

Appointment Meeting and appointment scheduling tool.

Why be among the first Thundermail users?

Will Thunderbird’s desktop and mobile apps remain free and open-source?

Yes. Thunderbird, the email application you download and run on your computer or phone, is free and open source, and it will stay that way. Anyone can use it, study the code, and contribute to it, with no subscription or paywall.

Will there be additional subscription tiers available?

Definitely! For now we're keeping it to a single annual plan. It keeps things simple on our end and lets us work closely with a core group of early users whose feedback will shape what Thundermail becomes. More subscription options are coming once we're past Early Bird.

Will Thundermail as a service be localized into other languages?

Yes, more language options are coming but during the beta Thundermail is available in English only.
