I use computational methods to study legal questions. I am particularly interested in evaluating legal reasoning and bargaining capabilities of LLMs. Currently, I am a Visiting Fellow at Stanford Law School’s liftlab.

My doctoral work at Freie Universität Berlin, supervised by Professor Andreas Engert, examines questions at the intersection of contract theory and bargaining. As part of this work, I spent time at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law. I have also worked in the machine learning team at Freshfields.

I studied law in Berlin (J.D.-equivalent) and at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London.

Outside my research, I co-founded the Berlin Learning and Intelligent Systems Society (BLISS) and have served on the supervisory board of Lern-Fair, a nonprofit focused on educational access.
