MAKE ROOM FOR THE WORK THAT MATTERS
A project is more than an open app. It is the right tabs, the useful files and the thought you were about to follow. Tucklane keeps those references and your stopping point together.

Included in both plans. Automatic capture of supported apps, files and browser tabs; Park and basic Resume; Simplified and Detailed views; notes, recovery, exports and verified backups. No artificial app or tab-count limit.
Pro supports up to 500 workspaces. Total checkpoint history is bounded at 20 per workspace; manual allowances are retained counts, not daily quotas. Saved work and recovery remain accessible if your plan changes. Capture and export safety bounds apply to both plans.
Captured metadata stays on your computer. Local libraries and exports are not encrypted. Activation verifies purchase access separately.
Pay once. Keep the purchased version. Updates within the same major version are included.
Updates within the purchased major version follow the website’s published terms.
A closer look at the capabilities and how they fit into your workflow.
It saves supported app and window identities, available file and folder references, connected browser tabs and exposed window context, together with notes, activity and checkpoints. Available state depends on what each app and operating system exposes.
Will it restore unsaved work?Tucklane reopens saved references and supported state. It does not copy unsaved application memory, roll back file contents, replay terminal commands or recreate an AI conversation. Save important edits in the original app before closing it.
Does Resume start recording? No. Resume brings back selected work and leaves recording paused. Start recording when you are ready to continue the session.
What happens to browser tabs that are already open?Saved session tabs restore into their own browser space. Unrelated existing tabs are left untouched. Browser profile, extension and site restrictions can affect which details are restored.
Do I need a browser extension?Automatic tab capture and profile-aware browser restoration use the Tucklane companion. Set it up once for each profile you want to connect. Free records one chosen profile; Pro can record multiple profiles. The companion does not request cookies or browsing-history access. Page-position capture asks for optional site permission.
Which browsers and work tools can I use?Use the browser companion with Chrome and Edge. Tucklane captures supported visible desktop apps and available file/folder locations; compatible editor adapters can also capture workspace paths. The state available to restore depends on what each app exposes.
What is the difference between a checkpoint and a backup?A checkpoint is a saved stopping point inside a workspace. Restoring it changes the workspace's saved working set and note. A library backup helps recover Tucklane's stored data. Neither is a backup of the contents of your project files.
Does Park force-close my apps? No. Closing is optional and uses normal close requests for supported selected windows. Apps can ask you to save, and windows that cannot be handled safely stay open. Free leaves browser windows open; Pro offers reviewed browser closing where the available snapshot and safety checks allow it.
Does it upload my work?Workspace capture metadata is stored locally, not synced to an EnlightPixel cloud workspace. Ordinary capture does not copy screenshots, clipboard contents, file bodies or page text. Titles, paths and URLs can themselves be sensitive, and local libraries/exports are not encrypted. Pause recording for sensitive work and share exports deliberately. License activation is a separate purchase-verification flow.
Does Pro need a subscription or constant internet connection?Pro is a one-time purchase. Activate using an EnlightPixel license key or the offline-computer certificate flow. Once permanent activation is verified and saved, Pro is checked locally without recurring internet verification. Website purchase/account access and downloads naturally use the website.
Can I move a workspace to another computer?Export it and import it on the other computer, then review local paths, installed apps and browser connections. Workspace exports do not transfer Pro activation or include the underlying project files.
Pay once. Keep the purchased version. Updates within the same major version are included. 14-day refund policy.
Start with one useful workspace. Add Pro when your work spans more projects, profiles and stopping points.
