Shanghai-based MoSense, which develops full-body tactile sensing systems for robots, has raised around RMB 100 million in an angel-plus round led by CDH Investments and Oasis Capital. Other investors include LimX Dynamics, Loongson Venture Capital, CAS Star, Hua Capital and Pudong Venture Capital Group. Founded in May 2026 by a team with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology backgrounds, MoSense develops electronic skin and algorithms that help robots sense physical contact. Its MoSkin hardware integrates sensing into structural components, while MoTact processes tactile signals. The company is working with robot manufacturers on deployment and developing MoWorld, a model intended to use tactile feedback to improve robot motion control. [STAR Market Daily, in Chinese]
