VeerHost has launched VeerAI, an AI agent built into the customer dashboard. Customers can now type a request, and the agent reads their account, answers the question and carries out the fix. That covers things like correcting a DNS record, restarting a server, renewing a domain or opening a support ticket. Every change waits for the customer to click Confirm.
We built VeerAI ourselves, inside our own dashboard, to help our customers get more done in less time. This post explains why we made it, what it does today, how it works and where we drew the hard lines.
Running a website means a lot of small jobs: a DNS change, a server restart, a renewal, an email seat, a new domain. They are quick when you know exactly where to go, and the more projects you run, the more of them there are.
We wanted those jobs to take seconds. Our customers build sites, run shops and ship client work, and every minute spent on routine account tasks is a minute not spent on that. A tool that handles the routine part helps people produce more and move faster.
So we asked a plain question. What if the dashboard understood what you wanted and did it for you? That question turned into VeerAI.
VeerAI is an AI agent that understands your VeerHost account, your services and what you need to get done. You use it through a chat window inside your dashboard. You can check your hosting, manage domains, review invoices, troubleshoot problems and get answers, all in one place.
We call it an agent on purpose. A chatbot answers questions from a script or a help article, and that is where it stops. (If you want the textbook definition, here is an overview of an intelligent agent.) An agent has tools. VeerAI is connected to your real account, so it works with your real data and can take real actions. In practice it does three jobs:
The idea is simple, and we kept it simple on purpose. Every request follows the same four steps.
That third step matters more than it looks. Most of the risk with automation comes from not knowing what a tool is about to do. By putting the exact action on screen first, we turn the agent from a black box into something closer to a very fast colleague who always says what they plan to do before they do it.
Features are easy to list, so here is how it plays out in practice. Say your site starts loading slowly on a Monday morning and you want it sorted before your first meeting.
With VeerAI you type one sentence. The agent checks the server status in your account. If the load is too high, it tells you what it found and offers a restart. You read the card, click Confirm, and the server restarts. Most problems like this get sorted out in about a minute, with no ticket and no waiting.
The same pattern covers the rest of the account. Here is what the agent can do today.
VeerAI knows your domains, servers, email accounts and support tickets before you say a word. There is no need to explain your setup or look up IDs. Ask about a domain, a server or an open ticket and the answer comes straight from your own account. Every conversation starts with the full picture.
You can ask whether a domain name is available and what it costs, since VeerAI can check live availability and prices. For domains you own, it can add, edit or delete DNS records and change nameservers. DNS is where small mistakes cause big outages, so this is where the explain-then-confirm design earns its keep. It is also useful right after you move a website to a new host, when one wrong record can take a site offline.
VeerAI can start, stop or restart a server and create a backup first. If you run a VeerHost VPS, that turns a server task into a short chat. Developers running tools like n8n can pair it with our guide to self-hosting n8n on a VPS.
The agent reads your invoices and services. It can renew a service, switch auto-renew on or off, switch WHOIS privacy on or off and change email seats. It uses the payment method already saved on your account, and only after you approve the payment.
Tell VeerAI where your site is hosted today. It opens the migration request and a support ticket for you, so you do not fill in a single form. Our team then helps move your site over. The whole move starts with one message.
If VeerAI cannot solve a problem, ask it to open a ticket. It writes the ticket for you with the subject, the department and the priority. You confirm it, and our team takes over.
Giving software access to a hosting account is a serious thing, and we did not want to ship a clever demo that makes customers nervous. Before we built any feature, we agreed on the rules. These did not change during development.
We think these rules matter more than any single feature. If you are curious about the wider risks of AI in web projects, we covered them in AI-built websites and SEO: hidden risks, and Google’s own guidance on AI features and your website is worth a read. An agent that is fast but unpredictable is worse than no agent at all. One that is fast and always asks first is something you can leave open all day.
It is fair to ask whether an agent is a way to cut support. It is not. Our support team stays exactly where it is. VeerAI takes the repetitive, well-defined jobs off everyone’s plate, so that when you do contact a person, the problem is a real one that deserves human attention.
When VeerAI hits its limit, it does not bluff. It drafts a ticket with the details already filled in, you confirm it, and our team picks it up with the context attached. That is a better starting point for everyone than an empty form and the words “my site is broken.”
There is nothing to install. VeerAI is part of the dashboard you already use.
If you are not sure what to ask, start with the account summary. It is the quickest way to see what VeerAI already knows about your services.
Should the agent ever act without asking? We talked about it for a while, and the answer was no. Speed is nice, but trust is what keeps a customer using a tool. A few extra seconds to read a card is a small price for knowing exactly what happens to your server.
Should it pretend to know everything? Also no. VeerAI works from what it can read in your account: your account details, domains, DNS records, services, server status, invoices and tickets. When a question falls outside that, the honest move is to say so and offer to open a ticket, not to guess.
Should it replace the dashboard? No again. The dashboard is still there, and every page still works the way it did before. VeerAI is a faster way in, not a locked door. Some people will keep clicking through the menus, and that is perfectly fine.
The biggest gain is not any single feature. It is the time you get back. A freelancer who manages a dozen client domains no longer needs to remember which record lives where. A store owner who notices a slow checkout can ask what is going on without learning what server load means. A developer can restart a VPS and take a backup in one sentence.
None of this is glamorous, and that is the point. Good tools remove small frictions so you can spend your day on the work that actually matters, whether that is your shop, your clients or your code.
This is a launch, not a finish line. We built VeerAI because our own customers kept running into the same small frustrations, and we will keep shaping it around what you actually ask it to do. If there is a job you wish the agent could handle, tell us through VeerHost support. The requests we hear most are the ones we will look at first.
You can read the full feature overview on the VeerAI page, compare services on the pricing page, see how much web hosting costs in 2026, or browse step-by-step guides in the knowledge base.
We built VeerAI so you can spend your time on your projects, not on account chores. It sees your whole account, prepares fixes in seconds and never acts without your approval. If you host with VeerHost, open VeerAI today and ask it for your account summary. If you are still choosing a host, start a free migration with one message and let VeerAI open the request for you.
VeerAI is the AI agent built into your VeerHost dashboard. You ask for something in plain language, and it checks your account, answers your question and does the work for you, such as fixing a DNS record, restarting a server or opening a support ticket.
VeerAI is an AI agent. A chatbot only answers questions. VeerAI can also read your live account data and carry out actions, such as updating DNS records or restarting a server, after you approve each change.
No. VeerAI is read-only by default. For every change it shows you exactly what it will do and waits for your approval. Nothing changes until you click Confirm.
VeerAI can read your account details, domains, DNS records, services, server status, invoices and support tickets. It can also check live domain availability and prices.
With your approval, VeerAI can add, edit or delete DNS records, change nameservers, start, stop or restart a server, create a backup, turn auto-renew and WHOIS privacy on or off, renew a service, change email seats, and open a support ticket or a free migration request.
Only if you ask it to pay for something, such as a renewal, and only after you approve it. VeerAI uses the payment method already saved on your account.
No. VeerAI works alongside our support team. If it cannot solve a problem, it writes a support ticket for you, you confirm it, and our team takes over.
Sign in to your VeerHost dashboard, open VeerAI in the left menu and type what you need. VeerAI also appears as the Ask VeerAI card on your dashboard home.
